When a guy from England and a girl from Virginia fall in love…

I recently took a trip to my home state of Virginia and got to spend time with some of my favorite people, explore scenic areas that I’ve never seen before, and also had the honor of photographing this gorgeous family. I haven’t seen this mama since our college days, so it truly warmed my heart to see her little family, meet their newest addition, Louis and capture this sweet milestone.

Prior to their session, I walked around Middleburg, Virginia taking in all that small-town charm and stumbled upon this beautiful garden. To my surprise, the infamous red telephone booth we all recognize as an England staple was right there in front of my eyes, cushioned in the most lush landscape. Knowing that dad was from England, I thought, this couldn’t be more perfect! And what makes this session even more special, is that it captures a glimpse into their love story. From building their first home and welcoming their baby boy, Middleburg will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Something I am committed to when capturing a family, is giving them a personal and unique experience tailored to them. The ultimate goal is to serve families through their most important seasons and convey a genuine celebration of love! I was truly honored to do that for this sweet family.
